The Village

The Village is the largest apartment community in Texas. It is actually several differnt complexes that are owned by the same property management company. There are approx 12,000 residents in this middle class enclave in which about 10% are Black. This is a planned community, which includes parks and a golf course. Some of the original complexes have been torn down and replaced with new higher-end luxury properties.
The Villiage is conveniently located near Central Expressway (75), upper Greenville Blvd, just south of Loop 12 Northwest Hwy. It is not to be confused with the apartment communities of Vivkery Meadow which are just north of Loop 12. They are completely different in just about every way. The Village is popular with singles, couples, and small families and has good proximity to one of the largest malls in Dallas, the lower Greenville entertainment district, downtown, and everything else North Dallas has to offer.
Median Household income is $48,000 and median rent ranges from $800 to $950 per month. It's served by the Dallas Independent School District.
